IMPACT
Mosaic is a member of an international alliance called
IMPACT. Members of the alliance are Mosaic and
Bethesda Lutheran Homes and Services in the United States, The
Bethel Institute in Germany, the Deacony of Northern Norway and
Bethphage Great Britain. IMPACT focuses on affecting public policy with indigenous partners in the Dominican Republic, Latvia, Romania and Russia. The goals of IMPACT are to:
- Create and provide community-based, competence-oriented services for people with disabilities and their families.
- Assist indigenous partners in creating strategies that promote inclusive societies and information campaigns that raise public awareness.
- Increase the skills of service providers in working in partnership with governments to design and implement socially-inclusive public policies.
