| Program Coordinator Michelle Allen |
|
Meet the Program Coordinator
My name is Michelle S. Allen and I am a Program Coordinator at Mosaic in
Delaware. My background in working with individuals with disabilities
started about 25 years ago. I have worked at agencies in Pennsylvania
and I have a strong passion for human services. I have been employed by
Mosaic for approximately 4 1/2 years. I am the chairperson of the
Spiritual Committee, a member of the Recreation Committee, the 20th
Anniversary Planning Committee as well as the chairperson for the
Individual Supported Focus Group. I find great pleasure in seeing the
individuals we support achieve their hopes and dreams, develop
relationships in the community and remain in good health.
My husband, Johnny, and my 3 beautiful daughters, Ayana, Alana, and
Aanika have watched me extend myself for people with disabilities not
only in the workplace, but in my everyday life. They know that I have a
passion for helping others. Oh, I also have a Jack Russell Terrier,
named Soto. When I am not working, I love spending time with my family,
baking, cooking and reading biographies of historical people.
