About Us
Mosaic provides a life of possibilities for individuals with intellectual disabilities. We help people define their own happiness. We support them and empower the pursuit of their goals. We celebrate their successes, even if that success is as simple as the pursuit itself. Mosaic is a consolidated service organization made up of two legacy agencies, Bethphage and Martin Luther Homes. Mosaic has been providing services to adults with disabilities in the Des Moines area since 1983. It was in 1983 that Bethphage opened three homes serving 24 people. In 1994, Martin Luther Homes opened 9 homes to serve 36 people. In July of 2003, the two legacy agencies came together to form one premier organization, Mosaic. Mosaic in Des Moines now serves more than 180 adults in more than 50 locations and employs 330 staff members. People served by Mosaic receive benefits in a variety of ways including 24-hour residential living, intermittent supports and employment opportunities. Mosaic in Des Moines is accredited with the Council on Quality and Leadership. |  |
