"I love the hands-on times, to be with individuals in service just talking and hanging out. That is what I love. It is the littlest things, like hearing about their days."
Arvis has worked for Mosaic almost nine years, but has nearly 15 years of experience in this field.
"I have a medical background and worked in a doctor's office. I went to medical school, but an injury had me hospitalized for six months straight. I had to learn to walk all over again. That's what led me into this field. People helped me and I needed to turn around and help others."
Her attitude is infectious.
"My son is 21 now and he works in this field too!"
Her job goals are clear.
"The point is to provide service and support to individuals with developmental disabilities to help them meet their goals and dreams and to make sure they live in a healthy and safe environment."
With Mosaic, she sees good things happen for people.
"Mosaic is different because we do make dreams come true. Things really have happened, it is not just talking about it but doing it! I like seeing the outcomes."
