The estimated total costs of the Framing Dreams project, including the land, home construction, furniture and equipment, hiring and training costs, and landscaping and decoration, are more than $11 million. While most of the homes will all follow the same floorplan, and all will have the highest level of safety and accessibility, the level of assistance will vary based upon the needs of the residents. Here is a general cost breakdown: Construction (average $710,000 each) - $7,810,000 Furniture and equipment (average $35,000 each) - $385,000 Landscaping (average $3,000 each) - $33,000 Household items (average $3,000 each) - $33,000 Vehicles - $440,000 Hiring and training employees - $275,000 Specialized bathing units (some homes, $3,000 each) - $21,000 Lift/rail system (some homes) - $270,000 Working capital (50 days operating costs) - $1,291,000 Mosaic broke ground for the first home in July 2009 and have raised funds for some of the costs, but we still need assistance to complete the project.
