Local comedians will enter their demo DVD to win the chance to compete "live" at the Mosaic in Connecticut Comedy Idol Contest. The competition will have 3-4 "Celebrity Judges". The winner of the contest will be decided by judge and audience votes. The winner of the Comedy Idol Contest will be showcased as the opening act at the Mosaic Laugh Out Loud (LOL) Comedy Night.
This event will feature a cocktail hour with a silent auction and balloon chance. Live musical acts will be featured during cocktail hour prior to the comedy show. Tickets will include admission to the two-hour comedy show, gourmet pasta stations with garden salad and artisan breads and a door prize ticket. A cash bar will be available for all beverages.
