Interesting in becoming a sponsor for Connecticut Comedy Idol or Laugh Out Loud (LOL) Comedy Night?
Sponsorship can be from a corporation or individual. All proceeds raised for Laugh Out Loud will directly benefit individuals with developmental disabilities at Mosaic in Connecticut.
It is a critical time for Mosaic in Connecticut and the individuals supported by our agency. Quality of services is only possible with a unique blend of human resources and financial support. Due to current economic conditions, most states across the country, including Connecticut, have had to make difficult decisions when setting their state budgets for the fiscal year. Specifically, Mosaic in Connecticut for the past 2 years has received no increase in funding although our expenses continue to increase thus creating a deficit situation.
Here is a list of areas not typically funded that your support will help:
Appropriate adaptive equipment to meet specific needs.
Dental and vision care.
Modifications to homes--necessary to make them barrier-free, accessible, and adaptable to the needs of the people we serve.
Non-funded state mandates--necessary to meet fire and safety codes for housing and program service facilities.
Maintenance and repair of equipment, buildings, furniture and grounds.
Recreation and leisure activities including accessing their communities
A simple vacation (e.g., visit to the zoo or an amusement park).
Our Connecticut Comedy Idol and our Laugh Out Loud (LOL) Comedy Night will help fund services to the people supported by this agency.
