Our Adopt-A-Home program is an
exceptional opportunity for your church or civic group to become
involved with Mosaic and the people we support in your communities.
Foster friendships... by sharing time and mutual interests of
people living in the home. Everyone seeks friendships with
unconditional love, a spirit of equality and respect for differences.
These relationships enrich people's lives and allow them to grow
spiritually. The need for love and friendship is a human need all
people share.
Promote safety... in the home by helping with maintenance and home improvement projects. Making a house a Mosaic home takes great care. The public funding that Mosaic receives does not normally cover items that provide a warm, caring environment, such as linens, artwork and furniture. Government funds do not cover upkeep of the homes, such as patching the floors and walls that show wear from wheelchairs.
Unite communities... by engaging various groups in meeting the tangible and intangible needs of people with disabilities. In order to fulfill its mission, Mosaic continuously builds and cultivates partnerships with churches and community groups. Become a part of Mosaic's ministry by adopting a Mosaic home in your community.
