Mosaic in Macomb 220 N. Lafayette St. Sean Eifert, Executive Director About Us Mosaic in Macomb has served people with developmental disabilities since 1983 when the first group home was opened. Services were extended to Bushnell, and by the 1990s, nine more group homes were opened. In January 1997, Mosaic in Macomb program developed day services that now include developmental training, competitive and supported employment. This program was expanded to provide training and employment opportunities by opening a shop in Bushnell called Beth & Friends Gifts and Consignments. Mosaic also operates an At-Home Day Program to provide recreational, leisure and some work activities to individuals who are of retirement age, or are unable to attend the Day Service. Mosaic in Macomb supports 92 people, employs 160 staff and has 12 group homes. These past years have been a time of learning, growing and expansion. Yet the emphasis has always been that the people we serve receive the quality care, compassion and support that they deserve. |
