Mosaic in Northern Colorado

Congratulations to Team Marianna for being awarded the One Mosaic Team Building Award! This award is presented to a team which exemplifies dedication to Mosaic’s mission through their work ethic, leadership, dedication, ability to motivate staff, and whose actions have fostered a more cohesive environment in the workplace.

Team Marianna was recognized for going ‘the extra mile and often miles beyond that’ to meet the care and activity needs of Marianna, who receives personalized supports in her family home. The team was nominated by Marianna’s mother who praised the team members for their commitment, compassion, patience, respect, knowledge and more. Together, they work to create the routine Marianna needs while keeping her active in the community and around the house. She said the professional team members not only relate well to Marianna, but also to those in the community Marianna interacts with.

The One Mosaic Awards were introduced across Mosaic in the spring and include four categories that local agencies can submit nominations for. The categories include Outstanding Advocacy, Outstanding Commitment, Outstanding Creativity, and Outstanding Team Building. The One Mosaic Award winners were announced by Mosaic’s national office on Friday, July 28.

Mosaic in Northern Colorado is very fortunate to have direct support staff who consistently go beyond what is expected of them to make sure those we serve are given a voice and live meaningful lives in a caring community. Congratulations to Chloe Webber, Wade Vitany, Mallory Shearer, Sara Myers, Laura Brundage, Jake Lawrence, and Shay Bebout, aka Team Marianna.
