direct support associate
The Direct Support Associate is responsible for training and assisting individuals served in various aspects of activities of daily living while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
This position is also responsible for the health, safety and emotional support of individuals being served. High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of three months of experience in a related field. Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

Direct Support Manager
The purpose of the Direct Support Manager will be to create an engaging, welcoming environment that empowers individuals to explore opportunities for personal growth, develop connections within the community and network with community resources to foster support of the activity program. You will be responsible, but not limited to creating group social activities, exercise programs, indoor or outdoor activities, creative activities such as arts, crafts, music, drama and educational programs that will enable individuals to express their independence at a level that is important to them.
You must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, exceptional problem solving skills, be patient, able to maintain composure in a stressful environment and have the ability to inspire and motivate others. You will be responsible for supervising direct support staff to encourage the same therapeutic environment and participate in the on-call rotation to support the program during emergencies or staffing issues.
Requirements: Bachelor degree in related field with one year of experience working with adults with disabilities and strong supervisory skills, may substitute five years of experience working in the field of intellectual disabilities. The position requires a good driving record, a clear criminal record, ability to pass a physical function test, TB screening and a post-offer drug screen.
