About Us

#

Mosaic in Arizona was established in 1986. With offices in Phoenix and Tucson, our programs span the larger Phoenix Valley and Tucson area to provide supports and advocacy for over 300 people with disabilities. Our promise is to provide the highest quality of care through constant interaction with families. At Mosaic, we want to be more than a provider--we want to be part of the family.

We partner with local organizations, businesses, and faith-based organizations to provide community connections for the people we support and to generate gifts and volunteers for Mosaic.

Whether you're looking for employment or volunteer opportunities, or you're looking for services for an individual with an intellectual disability, we hope you'll consider becoming a part of Mosaic in Arizona.

Mosaic in Arizona is creating a life of possibilities for people with intellectual disabilities.   Mosaic's offices in Central and Southern Arizona embraces the Mosaic guiding principle that "Every individual is a person of worth" while planning for future growth to keep up with the booming surge in population.

Mosaic is a diverse group of individuals coming together to create a unified whole. We are committed to providing quality care and support to individuals with development disabilities and their loved ones--always seeking to be one step beyond the norm of industry quality standards in order to truly see dreams come true for the people we support and assist.

Robert was born on June 17, 2008, seven weeks premature and with transposition of the great arteries and unable to suckle. He was put on a feeding tube and he also required oxygen through a tube. Success Story

#
Staff devoted to help Nicky achieve his goal.

Nicky Lopez came to Mosaic in May 2009. Since then, he let Mosaic staff know he wanted to get a job. When Nicky was asked what has stopped him from finding a job in the past, he responded by saying, "Nobody has ever believed in me and supported me." Nicky had shown great potential and capability to work, if given the opportunity to do so. He had placed at a day service center that he says was chosen for him. He was bored and unhappy there. Mosaic knew he needed a change.

Nicky finds it hard to advocate for himself, so it took some encouragement and confidence building. After a meeting with Nicky's team, it was agreed that he was capable of working, and he started his new job a few weeks later. After just six months of working at Michael's Garden, Nicky received his first promotion for a job well done! Congratulations Nicky!

That's what we do at Mosaic. We provide people, people like Nicky, a life of possibilities.

My internship experience at Mosaic

When I received an Arizona State University email suggesting I take a Service Learning class, I didn't look at it as much more than an interesting, easy way to fulfill an elective credit. The class required you to find an organization that makes a positive impact on the community and complete a number of service hours with them. That is how I became involved with Mosaic.
