Donations

Mosaic in Rockford accepts donations to further our mission. You can donate online through The Mosaic Foundation and desigate Rockford as the recipient of your gift.

You may also choose to donate at item from our Wish List. We currently need the following items:

• Cement wheelchair ramp
• New slate roof
• Vacuum cleaners
• Entertainment centers
• Commercial washing machines and dryers
• Large passenger van
• Wheelchair accessible van

Volunteers

Volunteers support and enrich the lives of the people who receive supports from Mosaic. Volunteers assist with social and recreational activities, develop friendships and help individuals discover fulfilling community activities. Mosaic in Rockford offers opportunities for individuals and groups.

Individual volunteers can assist with fundraising activities, clerical assistance, and the "Heart of the Forest" newsletter, just to mention a few options.

The Adopt-A-Home program provides a great opportunity for organizations, individuals and groups to develop relationships, send greeting cards, hold picnics, assist with activities, and provide friendship, support, and mutual respect to individuals with disabilities.

Churches can assist in spiritual development through support and encouragement of people to discover and pursue the spiritual side of their lives. This can be done through prayer support, volunteering, financial support and opportunities for individuals with disabilities to be respected and seen as worthwhile members of society.
