Mosaic in South Central Texas 12107 Toepperwein Rd. Tanisha Fuller-Felix, Executive Director About Us Services began in South Central Texas in 1987. This area includes services in the communities of San Antonio, Seguin, New Braunfels, Austin and surrounding areas, and outside of Houston. Martin Luther Homes opened its first group home in Texas in Seguin in the fall of 1987. Additional group homes were opened in 1988 and 1989. In the mid 1990s, development and growth expanded the program to include Austin and San Antonio. These services are part of the Medicaid Waiver program known as HCS, Home and Community-Based Services. Martin Luther Homes application to the state to provide HCS services was approved after the initial submission, a feat matched by only two other providers within the entire state of Texas! Initially, the South Central Texas program served six people in one group home. Today, the program serves over 67 people through three distinct residential services including 11 group homes in San Antonio, Seguin, and New Branufels. We also provide Foster Care/Host Home setting to support individuals throughout San Antonio, Seguin and Round Rock. |
