Mosaic invites you to support us through Birdies for Charity, an exciting fundraising program through the Valero Texas Open, the third oldest tournament on the PGA Tour. The pledge period runs November 12, 2010 -- April 12, 2011.
Mosaic's goal is to raise $100,000 and your pledge of one penny or more per birdie will get us off to a great start.
Make sure you designate Mosaic in South Central Texas as your charity of choice!

How Mosaic Will Benefit
Mosaic will receive 100% of every penny we raise through Birdies for Charity. Golf San Antonio pays for all costs to run the program.
Depending on how much is raised, Mosaic can even earn additional "bonus money" provided by Golf San Antonio.
Money raised by Birdies for Charity will impact the lives of individuals served by Mosaic. Funds will be used to purchase a variety of needed items such as Adaptive Aid Equipment for individuals who don't qualify for funding and prescription glasses for individuals whose vision has changed within a years time because state funding only provides glasses one time every two years.
How Birdies for Charity Works
Birdies for Charity is like a walk-a-thon. But instead of donating per mile, people can make a pledge for every birdie at the tournament (a birdie is one stroke under par). Last year, the birdie count was 2,294. So a pledge of one penny per birdie yielded a donation of $22.94.
