Mosaic provides a life of possibilities for individuals with intellectual disabilities. We help people define their own happiness. We support them and empower the pursuit of their goals. We celebrate their successes, even if that success is as simple as the pursuit itself.
Mosaic began providing services in Pittsburg and Coffeyville, Kansas on July 1, 2010. (Read more.)

Silent auction for a good cause
"Last year I recall a man coming into our office and waiting each day for the mail carrier to arrive, because he just knew that he was going to be receiving a Christmas gift from a loved one," said Tara Burch, a Mosaic staff member. Each day, Tara felt hopeless and heartbroken as the mail carrier came and went, never leaving a package for the man.
That experience gave Tara an idea. On November 12, she hosted a bake sale and silent auction to help raise money for the Mosaic Christmas Funds, which helps make the holidays better for those we serve. Each week, the people we serve are out in the community delivering Meals on Wheels or walking dogs from the Humane Society. You will also see people we serve ringing bells for the Salvation Army throughout the holiday season. The people served by Mosaic do so much for the community by donating their time and energy, sometimes in the bitter cold. Let us show our thanks back to them.
The silent auction highlighted artwork and crafts created by people in service, as well as many original art from Mosaic staff.
