Services
Mosaic in Waco serves 49 people in a 250 mile radius in Home and Community-based Services (HCS) including:
Group homes in Waco and the Harker Heights area
- Day program
- In-home support
- Respite care
- Foster and companion care
- Day habilitation
- Nursing
- Case management
Various therapies are also provided as needed by individuals. Our overall goal for supports is to provide individuals opportunity to participate in activities that encourage independence in daily living and acquisition of self-help skills, and to become an integral part of their communities.
How to receive services
To receive services, an individual must first have an HCS slot through the Texas MHMR system. If you do not have an HCS slot or do not know, you may contact your local MHMR center to be placed on the HCS waiting list. Once your name comes up on the list for a slot, MHMR will contact you to choose a provider for HCS services.
Mosaic in Waco has prepared a check-off list to assist families with the Medicaid process as well as navigating through the MHMR (DADS system).
