Volunteer
Volunteers are welcome at Mosaic in Waukon. If you want to give back to the community, come volunteer and have fun doing it!
Volunteers to support the individuals in service directly and the needs of the individuals indirectly are equally valued. We have both support positions and direct service volunteer opportunities available.
Some of the available opportunities are:
- Direct Support - Work one-on-one with a person receiving services either at their home (playing a game, watching a movie or working on a computer) or 'out on the town' by attending a sporting event, movie or going to a restaurant.
- Group Volunteer - Work with clients on a monthly basis at a group home, visiting with clients or doing light cleaning, maintenance or repair. We always welcome groups to come in for special parties around birthdays and holidays.
- One-Time Volunteers - Work with our clients during special events, such as our picnic.
- Committee Volunteers - Mosaic has several committees that meet on a regular basis to assist in the smooth operation of the agency or to enrich the lives of the people served by Mosaic in Waukon.
