He has now taken on the challenge of running a marathon atop the Great Wall of China.
On May 16, 2009 Saldivar ran 26.2 miles on the 5,164 steps of the Great Wall in Tianjin Province, China as part of the Great Wall Marathon®. His goal was not only to finish this unique marathon, but more importantly, to raise funds for Mosaic through pledges obtained from loyal supporters, such as you. So far Raul has raised over $8,500.
The challenge to you is simple.
Mosaic asks you to be a part of Saldivar's journey by designating a gift in honor of Raul Saldivar and the Mosaic Great Wall Challenge. The assistance provided by Mosaic, through the generous and faithful support of caring individuals like you, allows individuals with disabilities to face the challenges of their dreams and goals, and turn them into realities.
Please consider providing a generous gift to help us open doors to extraordinary lives for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
