Mosaic in San Angelo held a volunteer luncheon to show appreciation to all volunteers who've made things possible through its various programs for children and adults. Attendees enjoyed sandwiches, chips, brownies, cookies, catered by River Valley Cafe.

Volunteers were able to sign up on a volunteer schedule for Mosaic TRAILS and viewed the artist renderings of the Therapeutic Equestrian Center, which will allow Mosaic to expand on its services to provide therapeutic riding sessions and hippotherapy year-round, regardless of weather conditions.

Many volunteer opportunities are available. It takes 2-3 volunteers per horse ride with the Mosaic TRAILS program with each class session being an hour long. Volunteers may be sidewalkers, horse leaders, help with fundraising events, or organize and clean areas like the tack room.

The schedule for when volunteers are needed for the
 Mosaic TRAILS program:
Tuesdays from 8:30 a.m. to noon
Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to noon
Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to noon
