Mosaic in Garden City

Approximately 700 Self Advocates from all over Kansas came together for Interhab's Advocacy Day in Topeka Tuesday March 27, 2018. Hot topics included removing Home and Community Based Services from KanCare. Quickening the process of all background checks so providers can hire qualified staff. And the need to withdraw KanCare 2.0 application from CMS and request extension of 1.0 in it's current form. We believe everyone has a voice and it was great to share with legislators what is important to the IDD community.  Mosaic is so blessed to have been able to speak to so many legislators about the issues.
