Mosaic in Beatrice

The Bargain Box thrift store is run by the Children's Guild of Mosaic. The Children's Guild purpose statement is: To give financial support, in the way of special projects, from proceeds of the Bargain Box, to promote the interest of Mosaic in Beatrice. There are currently  61 volunteers that contributed more than 11,000 hours of volunteer time last year. Those hours are spent sorting donations from the Beatrice community and selling those close at thrift store prices.

On March 3, the volunteers gathered to gift Mosaic in Beatirce $80,000 from the proceeds of sales over the last year!

Amy Bell, Executive Director, says "Wow! How lucky we are to have such a dedicated group of women that donate their time and skills at the Bargain Box Thrift Store. Today we received a check for $80,000!"

The next time you are downtown on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, stop by and tell a Bargain Box volunteer THANKS and contribute to next years' donation to Mosaic in Beatrice!

The Bargain Box currently has a waiting list of volunteers and carries clothing, household goods, decor, shoes, holiday decor, books, toys, crafts, baby items, EVERYTHING but big furniture. The volunteers accept donations of any slightly used items during business hours Thursday, Firday and Saturday. 100 percent of our proceeds go directly to Mosaic in Beatrice. We are 100 percent volunteer run, and are owned by the Children's Guild of Mosaic.
