More Than a Job

More than just a job.

I hear that sentiment often from Mosaic employees – working here is more than just a job.

People often start working at Mosaic because they need a job. But they stay because they find out that the job helps them find meaning and purpose in their lives.

That’s the story for Will Tirop, a 16-year employee who does direct support work at Mosaic in Central Iowa. He puts it quite eloquently when he said he quickly learned that by helping others, you end up helping yourself.

Will is featured in a new video, titled “A Life of Possibilities.” I invite you to watch it. He is an excellent representative of what we do and of the respect and care that support our mission.

You’ll see that for Will, it is not about him. It is about the people served. As he says, “We see for those who cannot see and we hear for those who cannot hear.”
