The 2022 Summer Edition of ‘Promise’ is Here!

The summer 2022 edition of Promise, Mosaic’s national magazine, is now on our website for easy reading.

As the end of our Called to be Bold multi-year, comprehensive fundraising campaign closes, we share more stories in this issue of how heartfelt donor generosity continues to enable those we serve to lead BOLD lives in the way they choose–and on their own terms.

Mosaic’s newly appointed Associate Vice President of Government Relations, Cheryl Wicks, writes about Mosaic Allied Voices (MAV) and our combined strategic approach to strengthen advocacy and elevate legislative priorities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Importantly, more MAV members are always needed, so please consider joining after you read her article.

We also feature our diverse and newest Mosaic board members–both on the Mosaic Board of Directors and The Mosaic Foundation–with their passionate reasons why they wanted to be part of the work Mosaic does each and every day.

Finally, there’s an account from one of our pastor partners and his wife about their visits to Tanzania. After they witnessed the positive work done by Mosaic International and its in-country partner Building a Better Community to serve people there, including children, it had a deeply profound effect on their lives.

As always, we hope you enjoy Promise and further connect with our purpose to “love and serve” and our mission to relentlessly pursue opportunities that empower people.
