Mosaic in Central Iowa

Mosaic in Central Iowa is proud to announce it has been awarded the four-year Person-Centered Excellence Accreditation from CQL | The Council on Quality and Leadership. This award confirms that the organization embraces person-centered solutions to improve the quality of life for people receiving services and supports.

“This accreditation means so much for the people we serve, their families, and our dedicated employees,” said Carol Mau, Mosaic in Central Iowa’s executive director. “It was an intense process, but it affirms that we are truly providing the best possible supports for the adults with intellectual disabilities we serve.”

When the agency partnered with CQL to pursue accreditation, it undertook a rigorous process to review and improve supports and services. The efforts of Mosaic in Central Iowa were focused on empowering the people who receive supports to pursue what really matters in their lives and achieve their personally-defined outcomes.
