Follow Mosaic in Lincoln:
Mosaic recognizes that people with intellectual disabilities desire and deserve greater independence and closer ties to the community. By developing and expanding community connections, we create new social, volunteer and employment opportunities.
Learn more about Mosaic:
Mosaic in Lincoln offers a number of paid employment opportunities to the people we serve through our partnership with Phat Jack’s BBQ, our thrift store and more.
Phat Jack’s BBQ
Through our partnership with Phat Jack’s BBQ, people we serve work in a restaurant, building food service skills and gaining experience. For their work hours, people are paid a minimum wage.
Through a partnership with the ARC of Lincoln, Mosaic in Lincoln operates a thrift store. People we serve are able to learn retail skills and gain experience. For their work hours, people are paid minimum wage.
People’s City Mission
People served by Mosaic in Lincoln are the main volunteer force during the week at the People’s City Mission. The partnership provides people an opportunity to work with others of all backgrounds as volunteers at the Homeless Prevention Center and to give back to the community.
