Mosaic in Southeast Kansas

On August 28, the Mosaic team in Pittsburg was hard at work moving from the temporary Mosaic office on Centennial Drive to a new office on North Broadway. When our staff moved from Rouse to Centennial Drive one year ago, we knew the location was only temporary. During that year, our team in Pittsburg toured close to 50 buildings in the area, spoke with property owners, real estate agents and developers and researched every option to find our permanent home. Ultimately, a new location was chosen and the crew began work to renovate the building.

Thanks to our friends at Mid America Properties, who worked around the clock to fix up the new space, we were able to move in on time and customize our new home to meet the needs of our 17 office staff and the individuals served. In our bright, welcoming and spacious new home, we have 4,300 sq. ft. of space on the main level and another 4,300 sq. ft. in the lower level for future growth.

In the coming year, we plan to continue renovating the building to add another accessible, ramped entrance and increase office space. Our long-term vision is to utilize much of the currently unused space in our unfinished lower level for education, therapies and activity space for individuals in service which will require the addition of an elevator for accessibility.

We look forward to giving you a tour of our new office! Please join us for one of our Discover the Possibilities Lunch and Learn tours or join us at our official Ribbon Cutting on November 17 at 9 a.m.!
