Thank you to Redeemer Lutheran Church in Ark City, Kansas for providing an Angel Tree for Mosaic again this year. For 17 years, members of the congregation have picked an angel and then purchased gifts. Those whose names are on the tree have few resources to buy things like bedding, socks, warm coats, pajamas, toiletries and other personal items.

On Monday, Nov. 26, 2018, volunteer Stephanie Montgomery and others from Aviator Church in Winfield sponsored a birthday party for those who had a birthday in October, November and December. Since it was during the Christmas season, Stephanie provided a couple of fun Christmas crafts for attendees as an activity.

Those who had a birthday received a nice gift from Aviator Church and there were also some Christmas gifts distributed by the volunteers. Everyone enjoyed cupcakes and drinks.
