Steve has always been an active guy. He enjoys biking and uses this as a way to get around town. He skis the slopes and wall climbs at a local climbing facility. Steve’s sometimes quiet and shy demeanor may fool you, but he also enjoys attending dances and will proudly show off the formal prom photos of his girlfriend and himself at an annual event.

Every year, Mosaic selects two Direct Support Professionals who have gone above and beyond what is expected of them for those they support and are awarded the Direct Support Provider of the Year Award.

Mosaic in Northeast Nebraska

By Sheila Lindemoen, Blaise’s Mom

Mosaic has been a godsend for Blaise and our family.

In 2006, Blaise started going to day services a couple times each week so he could transition smoothly when he was done with school. Blaise is not the type of person that takes to change well, so the transition phase was great for him.

From his start in an institutional setting to his forever home in Columbus, Nebraska, Warren has always been the man to do it all – his goals are important to him.

Meeting people, talking and socializing are Warren’s strong suits. He came into Mosaic services in Columbus in 2003 when Bethphage and Martin Luther Homes merged. This was Warren’s chance to meet new people, find amazing friends and be independent – a concept he was finally able to embrace.
