Mosaic in Southeast Texas

Mosaic in Southeast Texas is so grateful for the students from Texas A&M University’s FLiP (Freshman Leaders in Progress) student group for hosting this year’s Sweetheart Ball.

Held the day after Valentine’s Day, more than 30 students decorated the fellowship hall of Peace Lutheran Church with a backdrop for group photos, selfies, and a dance floor for all to enjoy.

Anticipation was high for individuals Mosaic supports as they eagerly watched the clock for the day to end and the party to begin. Beautiful dresses, shirts and ties, and new haircuts were seen as guests arrived. Students were gracious to serve as hosts and hostesses serving dinner and drinks.

The DJ then turned on the tunes and the dance floor quickly filled up for favorite songs and sing-a-longs!

Having a caring community affords us to opportunity to extend our faith heritage to embrace God’s call to serve in the world. Mosaic is grateful for the partnership with Peace Lutheran Church for providing the space for such a memorable night for everyone!

We look forward to more volunteer opportunities with FLiP and other valuable community partners interested in an enriching experience with Mosaic. To learn more about volunteer opportunities available, contact Stacy Halley at stacy.halley@mosaicinfo.org or call 832.405.7181.
