Values Lead Our Actions
Tenacity is the word that comes to mind as I reviewed the stories in this Fiscal Year 2024 Impact Report. Tenacity defines our 112-year history: We have a vision to help people find a place to belong, and we’ve never quit pursuing that vision. In spite of great challenges through the years (no government funding for most of our history, people we support being unwelcome in communities, etc.), we have been tenacious and unyielding, because we know the importance of our call to love and serve others.
Along the way, we’ve come to be seen as a leader in our field. We didn’t seek to be a leader, but our tenacious dedication to providing personalized services for people has been noticed by others.
Mosaic’s primary measure of success is seeing people we support thrive. Other indicators of success include financial performance, workforce satisfaction, donor gifts and more. Those measures highlight that Mosaic relies on the strength in partnership among our workforce, volunteers, donors, community members, advocates, family members and guardians. That coalition is integral to enabling the success of those we support.
As a nonprofit, we share an Impact Report to show we are good stewards of the resources we receive. I’m happy it also shows the impact others in this partnership have on the daily lives of those we support.

Mosaic’s net assets increased 11% in Fiscal Year 2024. A mix of strong results in operations, CARES Act funding, generous donors and wise investments led to the second best financial performance in the organization’s history.
