Publications
Promise Magazine
Promise is the national magazine of Mosaic. The publication covers success stories of persons served by Mosaic; news about the organization’s whole healthcare and operational innovations; updates on expanding services; continued government advocacy for the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) community; Mosaic’s leading strategies regarding the changing face of healthcare; local agency reports and more. Promise is typically issued in June and December each year.
Summer 2026
We created Promise Magazine to share the human stories of our organization, and this issue does just that. Inside, you’ll read about our history and the incredible ways people have persevered through tough times. You’ll meet an individual Mosaic has supported for 50 years, learn how a mother is navigating her son’s transition of care, and find advice from a parent whose child has autism. You’ll also hear what’s kept President and CEO Linda Timmons going for 40 years and counting. These stories are the very heart of our mission, and we hope you enjoy them.
Winter 2025
In this Promise magazine, you’ll learn how the people we support are living a life of possibilities. The issue also recaps the recent Martin Luther Home Centennial Celebration, introduces new Mosaic Board and Foundation Board members and celebrates the recipients of our Partners in Possibilities and Advocacy awards.
Summer 2025
In this Promise magazine—our Advocacy Issue—we put a personal face on Medicaid and what it means to the people Mosaic supports and their families. With Medicaid funding more threatened than ever before in the current round of federal budget discussions we explain how funding works and how easy it is to become an advocate and make your voice heard by the members of Congress.
The Reason We Exist: Stories of Mosaic’s Call to Serve
To celebrate a century of service in 2013, Mosaic published this collection of stories about our history, our mission and some of the people who have been part of our story.
