Rich Hoffman Has a Great Life
Rich Hoffman is a happy guy who has a good life.
“Rich brings so much joy to us. He brings joy to everyone,” his mother Deb said.
Whether he is out and about with Mosaic’s day services or at home with his brother Jeff and sister-in-law Teresa, Rich lifts the spirits in the room with the nearly perpetual smile on his face and high-fives for everyone he meets.
Jeff and Teresa are Rich’s Mosaic at Home® Shared Living providers. Prior to moving in with them, he had been happy in a Mosaic group home for more than 20 years. During that time he became more independent and enjoyed living with his friends, Deb said. She called Mosaic his family outside of the family.
As shared living providers, Jeff and Teresa coordinate with Mosaic around Rich’s care and needs. As his brother and sister-in-law, they bring the added benefit of a longtime, loving relationship. It has worked out great for everyone.
“We are more than grateful for Mosaic. I think they go above and beyond,” said Dave Hoffman, Rich’s dad.
