About four years ago, we changed our tagline at Mosaic to “Real life. Real possibilities.” We believe it reflects Mosaic’s ability to meet people where they are and to help them find new opportunities in their lives.

I also created a strategic roadmap for the organization under the same name. That roadmap has been the guiding vision to our planning for the future. With each fiscal year, we set new objectives that will help us fulfill that vision. We’re achieving phenomenal success meeting those annual objectives, and I’m proud of our workforce and their ability to rise to the challenge.

The stories and information presented in our Fiscal Year 2023 (July 1, 2022 – June 30, 2023) impact report revolve around Mosaic’s vision for the future. In brief, the vision is to provide ever higher quality, more personalized services for people by creating a wide range of partnerships within communities and building long-term financial sustainability.

In this report, which is built around Mosaic’s values of Belonging, Connection, Faithfulness and Grit, you’ll see how personalized services are helping people achieve dramatic possibilities in their lives. You’ll learn about how we partner with individuals, such as our Mosaic at Home providers, as well as with community organizations and churches. Finally, our financial report from FY 2023 shows the success of our ongoing work to build long-term sustainability.

Mosaic’s financial success in Fiscal Year 2023 was the result of a number of factors, including Provider Relief Funds related to the COVID-19 pandemic and the integration of two acquisitions. The financial support of the CARES Act and the Mosaic’s donors provided an important bridge to help reduce the financial crisis the pandemic created, allowing uninterrupted care for the people Mosaic supports.
