Mosaic Nurses Shine
It is National Nurses Week, an annual event that begins on May 6 and ends on May 12, the birthday of Florence Nightingale, who is considered the founder of modern nursing. This year, Mosaic is celebrating National Nurses Week with the theme, “Come Rain or Shine, You Can Count on Mosaic Nurses.”
That is certainly the sentiment of Mosaic leaders across the organization. These are some of their comments.
On any given day they are loving cheerleaders to those striving to achieve health goals, fierce advocates within the medical community for people with disability and reliable guides for those we serve and their families navigating medical decision making. Our nurses work tirelessly to make sure our clients receive the best care possible. The empathy and support that they show daily to the individuals we support and employees go above and beyond that of any medical facility. They sacrifice their time off and sleep schedules to answer questions and calls 24 hours a day. It takes a special person to truly care about a person’s health and well being and our nurses jump right in to do what is best for the individuals we serve.
